Check In On The App

Started check in for our October 13 cruise yesterday on the website. Something was wrong there so I went to the app. Completed everything to where it asked for a photo. I wasn't prepared with a photo (it said something like "don't be camera shy") so I paused the check in process. Came back today to add the photo but there is nowhere to add a photo. Anyone run into this? If so, is there a work around or is a photo not necessary?

I was able to come back later with a photo but I don’t remember how.

I've not had the issue (I've always just snapped one via the app at check-in), but I don't believe a photo is necessary to complete check-in.  They can take on at the pier.  It'll be easier if you can get it done earlier, though.

I couldn't seem to chase my husband down for his picture. I kept getting to the point where I had uploaded his passport and then he was always either shirtless (it's been hot around here lately) or running around like a mad man. This is something like how I did it if I recall: Open app, Click on little person icon top right, click on correct guest, check in or edit check-in, scrolled next past the passport part and the next step was the picture.

No biggie. Photo isn't necessary at time of checking in on the app. I never take ours. They'll take it at the embarkation terminal. Fast and over. I've read on CC that some not all that do a selfie still end having to get their pictures taken again.
