Mykonos town

Hello. Probably a silly question or 2.. but bear with me. Where in Mykonos is the little streets with the shops, the picturecard types with the white walls, blue doors, pretty flowers etc. Is it any particular part of Mykonos? Is Chora something relevant? If it's in that sort of location.. is it handy (walking distance) to the Windmills and little Venice? We're not really into the beach. We've got day after day of seeing ruins.. so for Mykonos, we thought we'd explore the old town, the windmills and Little Venice. Any help would be appreciated. Such as say a starting point/address to the old town where we could start wandering. And finally, is it close to where the ships tenders land?

The town is very compact and we had no issues enjoying a casual stroll which took in all of the spots you mention.

Only difficulty we had, was that the sun was very bright that day and the light bounced off all that white so we needed to wear sunglasses. (some of the lanes/paths are also painted white)

Sort of like skiers needing sunglasses to prevent snow glare, but ours were for sun glare!

And do look for the pelican usually to be found around the harbour area which is where your tenders may drop you and an easy starting point to explore the town.

Thank you for that. The "Pelican"?
