nemesees Posted September 11, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2022 Hi everyone. This is our first cruise on MSC and just got email for an upgrade from a Deluxe Balcony to 3 choices. MSC Yacht Club Deluxe Suite MSC Yacht Club Interior Suite Suite Aurea with Terrace and Whirlpool while the YC option is tempting, we prefer to go the Aurea suite. Has anyone any thoughts on this Aurea? From the description, it seems to be at front of the ship, which is nice but wonder how strong the wind force would be. When we try to do a mock booking, the suite SLJ does not even show up. Why is that?
dexddd Posted September 11, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2022 It is not uncommon for the third party upgrade agency to have bids for sold out categories. I've also noticed that the minimum bid is often not much savings of booking outright.

I did a search for this category cabin for August ‘23 and the room is valued at $1850 pp with drink/Wi-Fi package And I found that even with the highest offer, it would still be a steal for me. Has anyone had this SLJ category cabin? I would like to hear what your pros/cons are on it.
