Anyone been on the CB - Eastern Caribbean using only a drivers license and birth certificate this year? I know the new rules are not in effect until the end of this year but was wondering if you would still have problems at the ports and stuff. Thanks!

Go ahead and get your passport, it just makes everything a lot easier.

We got new pass ports and found it to be a lot easier to board. But we later found out they still take the dl and bc.

Passport best way to go but do not need it.

We used ID and Birth Cert's. Only needed in Fort Lauderdale on Embarking and Disembarking. Lot's of Birth Cert's being used still. Of course, that changes at the end of 2006.
