How to get from JFK to Newark?

Hi Everyone,

We had originally booked a direct flight over 4 months ago into Newark but now the airline has told us they are not flying into Newark but rather into JFK. Our cruise will be out of Bayonne, NJ and had booked accommodation close to Newark airport as well. Can anyone tell me what the best way is to get to Newark airport? How much would taxi be? or is there an airport shuttle at JFK that will take us to to Newark. Our flight gets in at 5:30 pm during rush hour as well. Any help would be appreciated.

For what a cab would cost (+tolls), I think you'd be better off with a private car company. aaalimo is good. If you just google NYC limos, you'll get all kinds of possibilities

There are shuttles that run between the New York and New Jersey airports, however I don't know all the prices. if you google JFK airport,there should be a section on their website about transportation and how to get between the airports.
