PV beach south of port

Is there a place to rent a chair/umbrella and buy beer along the beach just south of the (Puerto Magico) Marina port in PV or is it all private resorts? Thanks

Many restaurants on Playa Los Muertos offer chairs/umbrellas for their customers when you come for a drink or meal. Places like Cuates y Cuetes (check their webcam here: http://www.cuatesycuetes.com/ or restaurants like Cebollo Rojo, La Palapa, Eldorado and more. All of them more or less around the pier in old town. 

If you want to be there for some more hours go to a hotel with beachclub, hotels like Mariott and Westin in the Marina area (not that far from the cruise terminal.  they charge an entrance fee of which part can be used for drinks etc.hotels like Marriott and Westin in the Marina area (not that far from the cruise terminal.

Thanks for the info. We have been to old town many times and enjoyed it but we’re hoping to just get off the ship and walk to the beach. We walked through Krystal’s Resort years ago but I can’t remember if the beach had any chair/umbrella areas open to the public.

Krystal is part of the Hilton complex now, Hilton took over part of the gardens etc. I donot know if they still sell daypasses.

I would like to know if you can buy a day pass or just walk in as we did in the past.
