Important Information
Voyage Cancelation
BRIDGES WORLDWIDE TRAVEL LLC
Date: 09/27/2022
Dear Valued Guests and Travel Partners,
Thank you for your loyalty and choosing Norwegian Cruise Line for your upcoming vacation at sea. We have important information regarding the September 29, 2022 voyage aboard Norwegian Getaway. Travel Partners are asked to please share this information with impacted guests.
The safety and comfort of our guests and crew is always our number one priority. Due to the projected path of Hurricane Ian, Norwegian Getaway's September 29, 2022 sailing has been canceled. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
If you purchased air through Norwegian Cruise Line and are currently in transit, our team is diligently working to reissue your return home ticket and will send you all information to your email on file.
You will receive a full refund that will automatically be returned to the original form of payment provided at the time of your current reservation. No further action is required on your part; your refund will be automatically processed within 30 business days and will be returned within seven to ten business days from the processed date. The visibility of the funds is dependent on your financial institution's internal policies.
If your most current reservation was paid via a Future Cruise Credit (FCC), 100% of the FCC used will be re-applied to your Latitudes account. No further action is required; the FCC will be automatically added within seven business days.
We sincerely appreciate your loyalty, and we cannot wait to provide you with the cruise vacation you've been dreaming about, and likely need now more than ever! Therefore, in addition to the 100% refund or full return of your FCC, you will receive an FCC valued at 25% of the voyage fare paid for your current sailing. The 25% FCC will be applied to your Latitudes account and will be available as of October 10, 2022 for any voyage through December 31, 2023.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience as a result of this unforeseen event, however, we are looking forward to welcoming you onboard in the near future to enjoy your long-awaited vacation at sea. If you have any questions, please contact us at (866) 234-7350 (U.S. and Canada) or visit us at

I was wondering why Getaway stopped in her tracks in the Narrows just before the Verrazzano Bridge .... she arrived in MCT (New York) at 7 am this morning, departed at 12:30 pm to sail with crew only (no passengers) to Port Canaveral but after an hour's sailing she stopped in the harbour at 1:30 pm.

Sad that the above happened, but no dice for Getaway and her passengers to be able to sail out of Port Canaveral where the airports close to PC are going to be closed. Also, according to Windy the seas on both sides of Florida are expected to be very choppy (20-30 ft) on Thursday afternoon/evening. No chance.

If you are referring to the agency the guideline prohibition is against advertising or touting, which hardly seems to be the case here.  For all we know you had nothing but trouble with this booking and would never use them again!  😉
