Carnival Long Beach Terminal

Hey y'all!! We'll be traveling on the Carnival Panorama February of next year and want to know what the boarding process is currently. My understanding is that it has changed and arrival times are now enforced something we've never experienced for our pre or post Covid cruise travels. Thanks in advance

We will be going on the Panorama Dec 17-24 and wondering what embarkation day will be like also. I understand they give an appointment time now, so does this speed the process up, any of you who have cruised recently with Carnival?

Yes, they did enforce the arrival time on my recent Panorama cruise. If you arrive earlier or later than your time, you will be placed in a separate line. People from that line are intermingled with the people that arrive at their assigned line. 

 

Both lines moves pretty quickly. Yes, this does speed the process up quite a bit.

Also if you do VeriFLY app, they scan it, your boarding pass, and passport- they use passport for sign n sail photo we were told. I started a live thread today if need any questions answered, I will try as get a cell signal during cruise, use this link to the posting.

And then other times they’re extremely quick. What they aren’t, is consistent.

It seems like things should move faster since there is no checking for covid tests and vax status. Also with arrival appointments aren't things going more smoothly?
