Back2Back Question

Hi all,

We have a back to back coming up where we will need to leave the port between cruises. Has anyone done this before?  We will need to get off with the early walk-off guest so that we can drive to the airport and come back.  Wondering how they will do this since typically we have just met in a room and walked off as a group with other back2backs.  This time we will need to get off early vs. being the last group off. Anyone have experience with this?

thanks!

The night before arrival in port you should get a letter explaining what you should do whether you are getting of the ship or staying on.There should be a card or some type of pass that states you are a B2B passenger and this should allow you to avoid the long lines boarding the ship.B2B are the best,

I suppose that in theory, you don't have to link your cruises, so they think you are a regular debarking passenger and then a newly arriving passenger...

Hi 🙂

You'll receive an (In-Transit Pass) with instructions the evening prior, as the previously mentioned. It won't be an issue at all.

Whatever you do, keep both sailings, (make sure both sailings) are (Linked) together as Back2Back voyages.

Bon Voyage!

What do you mean, "linked?"  I asked that if our accounts would carry over from one cruise to the next one and they told me they would not.  All accounts would be closed at the end of the first cruise, and we would start from scratch at the beginning of the second one.

B2B often get free presents! I was B2B on Valor this summer; got a fruit basket, champagne, and a group picture. Wife and son were in the group picture. I left the ship and went to re-supply. They gave me an In Transit pass to skip the check-in lines. Wish I’d have left earlier so I’d been back on the ship a little earlier. Not sure if I’d have gotten the transit pass before the meeting time?

You want your room steward to know you are staying onboard and so GS can contact you with instructions to clear Customs so you just check in with GS to be "linked".  Nothing carries over including any casino points or cash.

Any 'gifts, photos  or even a mimosa is completely at the discretion of the Hotel Manager.  Some are generous, some are not and they are not required to do anything extra.
