Open Booking purchased in 2013 - questions

So I found an old Open Booking Confirmation that I purchased on the Allure in 2013.  I  paid $100 for it.  I've read all the paperwork I've got and just want to make sure that I'm understanding what the benefit is/why I purchased it.  I know that the program has changed to NextCruise on May 1, 2019, but I did see on Royal's website that purchases before that date will be "grandfathered in under the old program, which includes non refundable deposits but no expiration dates and only up to $100 in Onboard Credit per stateroom."  I am guessing that the value I paid goes toward the cost of my cruise when booking and then the perk is that I get OBC...is this correct?
