European cruising and wine

We are thinking of booking a cruise visiting the British Isles.  Other cruise lines allow you to bring wine onboard after visiting a port.   Any experience with this with NCL?   Just wondering if the drinks package is worth it if you can bring on wine

You can bring on and drink (in your room or dining venues) as many bottles as you want. There is no corkage fee if you have the drinks package.

If you don't have the drink package, you'll be charged $15/bottle you bring on for a corkage fee. 

 

If you take the free at sea drink package, you can bring as many bottles of wine that you can carry in your luggage for no fee at all.
