AnitaVacation Posted November 12, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2022 Here's a random question.... has anyone been part of a slot pull that won big?? I've participated in a few, but we never win...(whether we get the casino host involved or not)... atleast if you get the casino host involved, sometimes they will give you some swag... EvanBedar Posted November 12, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2022 (edited) $1,200 on a nickel machine at the old Alladin in Vegas. Only time I had to wait for a tax form. That same weekend, $900 on the $5 slots at Bellagio. I had to pay for everyone’s every g— — thing after that. Food, drinks, it all comes out in the wash. This is precisely why jackpots are so fun. For a few minutes — hours — you get to be the Captain of Fun. Good memories. I never buy groceries with big wins.

Only one I've participated in actually won but I wouldn't say big. I think we all walked away with about $20 each from our $5 investments. I seem to recall we were losing until the last spin. thedarklord Posted November 14, 2022 #5 Share Posted November 14, 2022 I hit a $1200(?) jackpot on a slot pull once, transatlantic on the Breakaway I think (inaugural?). No tax issues, as not a US resident which helped everyone walk away with a few $$'s
weltek Posted November 14, 2022 #6 Share Posted November 14, 2022 As a Cruise Critic meet & greet/group event, my results have mostly been break even or win about $10/pp, but I've only participated in four.
Rare cruiseny4life Posted November 14, 2022 #7 Share Posted November 14, 2022 (edited) I've been a participant in one and ran one. Both times we just drew the money down to $0, because we never won anything big to split. Based on my results, I shouldn't do a slot pull in the future, but we will probably throw in a few bucks toward the one in March. At the very least, it's an entertaining 30 minutes or so. Also, I haven't done this, but have heard others who had the agreement of the group. They would take whatever they had (if they didn't win anything) and put the remainder on black at the roulette table. Might be a fun option...the fun just won't last as long if you don't win. Rare JIMESOPUS Posted November 14, 2022 #8 Share Posted November 14, 2022 Have been part of or organized quite a few. Now with the $1 Wheel of Fortunes disappearing, will probably stop organizing soon. Last jackpot Bliss, 1/2020 - $5 bet / $1500
