When we sailed to Alaska 2 years ago, between my husband and myself we won a total of $5,300 on the slot machines. He hit a jackpot of $1800 and I hit a jackpot of $3500 within 15 minutes of each other on slot machines that were side by side. When we went to the Southern Caribbean last March, I hit a jackpot for $1,000. Both cruises were on NCL's Spirit. According to Slots Magazine, NCL's slots pay off the best of any cruise line.:D

Hard to say, since I am a nightly blackjack dabbler. On my last cruise, I bought $60 in chips and played on that initial investment all week. Cashed out at the end for about $300, but had been up MUCH more than that mid-week. LOL

A guy I played with the first night started out with $100 and left the table with almost $10k. (he was a *player*). He was in the casino all day the next day, and not at all the rest of the week. Have a feeling his luck didn't hold up past day one. :)

I won the blackjack tournament on our Enchantment cruise in January. :D

I bought in twice at $20 each and won $453, a Casino Royale Winner T-shirt and a cheap plastic trophy that says "Casino Tournament Winner".

It's not much compared to some, but for me it was a very good day!!! :D

Last year on Carnival Conquest my buddies convinced me to try Craps for the first time. We played almost every night for an hour or so and walked away with a $450 profit. Any complaints my DW had about playing were immediately vanquished when I cashed out :D

On our Alaskan cruise on the Serenade last September my wife won just over $5,000.00 on a quarter slot machine just after midnight--ON THE LAST NIGHT OF THE CRUISE!!. We didn't even have time to "give it back"!!

Largest single win was $3,600 ... have been pretty lucky winning $600 - $1,200 jackpots....my problem is that I keep giving it back....DH says we only cruise now to visit our money....

January of 2000, left Ft. Lauderdale on the Horizon. IT WAS SO ROUGH YOU COULD HARDLY STAND UP. To get out of our inside cabin, we went to the casino. I went to a bank of Blazing 7 progresssive machines. I started to put $20 in a machine and stopped and walked over to another machine. I put in the $20 and always play max quarters. Probably the 5th "pull" the Blazing 7's came up and I hit for $1647.00. They took my picture for the winner's board and I was sooooo green. Lovely picture to look at all week but worth the $$$.

Won $1800.00 on my second pull of the $1 machine, my last night on Majesty (03/02). Went home the next day with ALL $1800.00. Thank heavens I won on last night...................bet ya, if I won earlier in the cruise...............would have dropped that in a jewelry shop!!??!!!;)

DH and I like to play black jack. On this last cruise on the Brilliance he won every time he played (quarter table) I hovered on my $100.00 buy in until the last night I hit them for about $450.00, then won $350.00 on the wheel of fortune dollar slots. DH managed to pay off our seapass account in cash and still bring home money. I never did ask him how much he won...but the seapass account was over $1000.00. (we like the spa)

DH usually comes back up a couple of hundred playing blackjack by basic strategy. I also come by periodically and get him to give me chips until I have his stake back.

I won $625 on a 3-quarter Stampede machine 1st night on the Splendour last April. That ought to keep me in my usual nickel donations for awhile.

I forgot my name, couldn't remember my cabin number, and generally lost it. Ran into the same casino guy this December on the Sovereign and he remembered me...guess I made an impression!

Going to have another crack at it in a couple of weeks on the Empress.

Have fun and good luck!

Wendy

$2200 from the Wheel of Fortune slots machine on the Jewel of the Seas Feb 2005. It was the last night of the cruise around midnight so we went home with all that cash!! They had paid it out in $100 bills and I actually came back this year to the Mariner with 10 of those $100 bills. I won a few times on the slots ( $600 and $750 ) but gave it all back! Had such fun doing it though (-: More importantly: many great memories from a wonderful family cruise!!

In January on the Rhapsody I hit $485 on a slot machine one afternoon. Maybe not alot to some people, but that's the most I have ever won and was excited and got my picture put on the winner's board. DS pulled me out of the casino after that as an "intervention"! LOL! Also came in 3rd on the slots tournament, but they only paid 1st and 2nd place. I did get a t-shirt though...

There was 1 lady that was hitting between $1000 to $5000 everynight of the trip. They had a new picture of her on the winners baord everyday. On the last day when you can go to the casino to collect your picture. she had a stack of them! But like the teller said, how much did she lose before she won that money? Hmmmm.....

My gambling on the casino is done this way. I will only gamble a maximum of $100 per day. On the SS Norway in 1994, I lost $100 Day 1, Lost $100 Day 2. Won $6400 Day 3 and put back in my $100 for a net of + $6300. Lost $100 on Day 4,5, & 6. Net gain +$6000. Won $120 day 7,put $100 back in and net for the cruise was $6020. Put it right back into another cruise for the entire family of 4. Have noy won a thing since!!
