Puerto Madryn. Without penguins and sea lions

Looking for something different, as we have done the wildlife.  Possibly the welsh village. Looking for something DIY.

Gaiman, the Welsh village is about a one hour drive.  There is Faro Punta Ninfas almost a 1 hour 45 minute drive.  Estancia El Pedral is a 1 hour 30 minute drive.  There is the Paleontological Museum in Trelew about a 50 minute drive.  Peninsula Valdes is all about wildlife.  Then there is always town of Punta Madryn.  Not much DIY unless you rent a car or hire a taxi.  We did an awesome Peninsula Valdez private excursion with Sentir Patagonia.  We saw just about every animal and bird of the area other then the whales since it was not the right season and had a great lunch on a working Estancia.

We did a private tour of Peninsula Valdez back in 2019.  It was great, but not something to do again.  Also don’t want to the long drive to the penguin colony.

 

I'm hoping to hire a taxi for a half day if they are available
