Blue Chip Club Question

Hi Everyone,

I am a super new cruiser, only went on my first in Feb '22 but LOVED it, so now we have one booked coming up Feb '23 and again in Feb'24! But with all this talk about the BCC I've been trying to find out more information, but the celebrity site seems to be skimpy on the info.

Based on what I can tell from the site, we are automatically signed up soon as we play on the ship? I wouldn't consider myself a heavy gambler, but I did spend a few hours every night before bed down in the Casino on the Apex in Feb. so I assume I'm at least Pearl level? But do I have any way to confirm that? I've also noticed a few people mentioned offers for BCC members? While I'm not expecting anything with only one cruise in my history, do I just need to sign up for the email notifications on the Celebrity site? (Specifically, under the BCC section?) I did sign up, but it was only the other day after reading a number of posts here on the forms.

Finally, I've noticed people talking about a drink package discount with BCC? We are currently at Select Tier with CC between the cruise and getting PP point over COVID, we've racked some points up. With CC It says we can get 10% off our Drink package upgrade. We requested the upgrade via the TA, but on the Celebrity site it's showing the 5% pre-cruise discount. I've seen others say the BCC offers 15%? Do I need to contact Celebrity directly to get this fixed? It it worth contacting BCC instead?

As a new cruiser, I'm not trying to penny pinch, we really love Celebrity and are going to relax and enjoy, but I also don't want to leave anything on the table that we've earned, any other tips/tricks/discounts/offers we should be looking into with our current status levels?

thanks, I've already found these forms super helpful, and I only joined a few days ago!

Call the BCC, I called about 45mins ago, was on hold for less than 5mins:

1)  Ask them how many tier points you have

2)  Ask them if you qualify for a comped sailing, they'll usually want a specific sailing, try saying the Millie on March 4th

3)  If you qualify for a comped sailing, ask about the drink package discounts (not sure if it stacks)
