A couple of Horizon questions for Christmas sailing...

 Share

Recommended Posts

It has been awhile since we've sailed on Carnival. Here are a few questions:

1. Are the Fun Times still distributed as a hard copy?

2. What does the Horizon have open for lunch on embarkation day?

3. Are the muster drills back to being conducted in the traditional meeting station way?

4. On our 6 day Christmas sailing, what days can we expect formal nights? The 24th is our embarkation day.

Thank you in advance for your time 😊

We asked our steward to deliver a paper copy of the Fun Times, and he did.  He placed the page on the bed or in our mailbox.  You can also pick up at customer service or coffee shops.

We ate at buffet, not impressed.  Most things seemed open as usual.

We had to meet a ship member at our muster station for a short demonstration on how to use the life preserver.  Life preserver stayed in cabin.  We did not muster en mass, just a few people.  Then she scanned our cards.

Just off Horizon yesterday. Never saw a hard copy of fun times, but never looked. Definitely not delivered to the room.
Almost every venue is open for lunch on embarkation day. Pasta at Cucina d3l Capitano, noodles at JiJi’s, buffet, pizza, seafood shack, Guys Pig and Anchor, Bonsai Sushi, etc.

Muster drill is at your assembly station listed on your card, takes less than 5 minutes.
We just did the 6 day, elegant nights were Monday and Thursday
