Xmas lights on balcony?

Is this allowed?  
 

I ordered some waterproof battery operated lights hoping I can place on our balcony for the Xmas cruise.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hanging stuff from the balcony is a big nope.

You cannot leave anything on your balcony at all, too many things blow overboard.

Any idea about the Havana rooms on deck 5 with the outdoor seating area which really isn’t a balcony?

It's the same thing, you can't keep things out there. Can't even leave your towel out there to air dry.

you could put the lights on the inside of the window or door to your balcony. i know it says no string lights. but i've seen them many times on doors and in windows. i would say only have them on when you are in the room
