Hi haynesra, If you ask your current health plan, it's likely they will say they pay primary. However, if you get a travel insurance that says it's Primary or First Payer, then you can submit medical to it first so it pays as Primary. Depending on your ages and what your current health plan is, you might not be better off allowing travel insurance to pay as Primary.
