Can I purchase specialty dining as gift for family?

I would like to purchase specialty dining at Chops as a gift for family on the Vision of the Seas.  How would you do this?

Through the cruise planner if you are going, we have purchased 7 for a family cruise. If you are not going let someone who is going make the purchase and reimburse them.

 If not a surprise you can log in using their RSVP number and purchase it.  You will have to make a RSVP but they can probably change it once on board.   You could also buy them a gift certificate in "Gifts & Gear", but there's a lot "fine print" on how to redeem them and they can't be redeemed on board.
