Haven priority embarkation in New York City?

When walking in the terminal you should see a line for the Haven. Maybe someone else can chime in about what side its on while looking west. From 2019.... it was on the right. Large sign for Haven check in, we showed a woman our Edocs and she directed us to a separate security line. We were then directed to the Haven checkin, a smallish room to the right. It was in there we got our cabin cards, about 11am we were escorted to the Haven

We've had two different experiences in Manhattan.

In April we were in a hell'ish line that some had to wait up to eight hours in. We only waited three hours. I won't get into the specifics as some of it was caused by Bermuda COVID requirements that no longer exist.

When we entered the terminal for check-in (after COVID checks), we went through the same security line as everyone else, then proceeded to the Haven waiting box (it's a room, but it's just an uncomfortable box) toward the far western (NJ) side of the terminal. When we got there, we were asked to sit and an employee came to us to check us in. We were then escorted onboard by a casino dealer.

In September the situation had thankfully improved. We entered the terminal and went through a Haven-specific security line, then were directed to a waiting box on the left (as you're facing NJ) and a lineup of Haven passengers. We waited in line to be checked in at a table. For those that don't have a Russian born husband, this took about ten minutes. For us, it was about thirty minutes due to his citizenship (as you can imagine in this cra-cra time). We were then escorted onboard by Ivan, the assistant concierge who truly works miracles!

We will be checking into the Haven in 23 or 24 days, out of Manhattan, and I'm sure I'll share that experience somewhere on these boards as well.

Have a lovely cruise!

This past October it was to the left as you walked in; there was a Haven sign and ‘greeter’ that brought you up to the security desk.  You then walked to the far back right side (towards the Hudson River) to the Haven check- in room.  To board, you then walked all the way back to the front ( towards shoreline).
