Insurance increase.

Just got a notice that my insurance increased, for Dec. 22, 2023 cruise, about $50 even though it is already paid. I didn't know that was allowed.

Do you mean that the cost of the cover increased?

Perhaps reference to the T&C's is called for! If the insurer has a clause in your contract allowing for additional charges, there is little you can do.

was this insurance through the cruise line? They may be different about age premiums. 
 

was there an added required coverage such as COVID?  
 

I’d certainly ask for an explanation as to why.  Our insurance is based on $$ covered and age.  In general we pay for our insurance at final payment and that’s when age is determined.
