How Is FTTF boarding times?

You can check in 2 days early. As far as at the pier, you are supposed to get priority there but you still have to arrive during your arrival appointment. They are supposed to be enforcing arrival appointments for everyone except suite guests.

Our check-in date for February is still 14 days out, not 16. Did they announce that FTTF would be able to check in earlier? That would be awesome if true.

Carnival hasn't announced 2023 policies yet

We have FTTF for our 12/26 sailing, but no status.  Check in did not open for us until 12/12.  I did log into the site at 15 and 16 days prior to the sail date, but check in was not available.
