Britannia February Caribbean

Hi All

I have normally cruised with Princess and NCL so i was always geared up for using dollars on board and on the Caribbean Islands, So my question is, when going ashore the islands what currency will i need? Dollars, Pounds or local currency?

US dollar is what I use when visiting the caribbean on land holidays.  Its accepted everywhere although often the give you change back in the local currency

Depends on the Island though, so best to check all your ports.  Guadalupe, for instance is France, like part of St Marten, so you will need Euros there.  Dollars in the Dutch part of St Marten though.
