ladylawyer Posted March 8, 2006 #26 Share Posted March 8, 2006 and we won't mention insane people like me, Robyn, who are just nocturnal by nature. Yep, that would be me, too. However, I'm convinced that Carol, like rust, never sleeps. I see her green light on, when it's wee hours for me, and we're 2 time zones away from each other. Thank goodness, too, since she usually has helpful/funny insights to most dilemmas. :) (Personally, I think it's the M&Ms that keep her awake ;) ) I suppose that you're up and chipper at 6AM, Robyn?
Coralc Posted March 8, 2006 #27 Share Posted March 8, 2006 Those of us on Pacific Coast time like to mess around with your threads late at night, just so you have something to comment on in the morning.....while we are still sleeping.:D I only post late on weekends here. airlink diva Posted March 8, 2006 #31 Share Posted March 8, 2006 Some people seem to forget, or don't even realize the amount of people that work 2nd and 3rd shifts. I've worked "odd" hours for 17 years. When I'm online in the middle of the night, chances are I'm just unwinding after work. As the world turns------ I argee, I worked at a casino for 10 years on the graveyard shift. On my current job, I'm on the second shift (1 p.m. --10 p.m.). Since my body is still on a night mode, I'm often online during the middle of the night. My lunch time was 5 a.m. !!!:D
Nliedel Posted March 8, 2006 #32 Share Posted March 8, 2006 I wake up sometimes and can't sleep. I check my mail and there are always threads that I can post in so I post a bit and go back to sleep. I breastfed in the middle of the night for over a year and that was not even a year ago so I am not back to my normal sleep schedule yet.
superjerryw Posted March 8, 2006 #33 Share Posted March 8, 2006 Same here - I wake up to go to the bathroom and can't get back to sleep! Cruise Critic is entertaining even in the middle of the night and I usually will get tired quicker than just tossing and turning in the bed!Denise So then what you are saying is that reading these threads is actually boring and helps you get back to sleep....
Nliedel Posted March 8, 2006 #34 Share Posted March 8, 2006 So then what you are saying is that reading these threads is actually boring and helps you get back to sleep.... That's right, Yawn! :D It's more interesting than watching someone try to sell me the latest miracle cleaner on TV.
