New to S.S.

My agenda for 2023 is cruise full, so I just booked S.S. for May 1st Tokyo to Alaska. 

I have just checked cruise critic and I am shocked at the negative comments, particularly re food quality and table bookings.

I am a frequent mariner on Ocieana and others and I expected to read gushing comments about food, butler etc.

It would appear the Butler function is in name only.

 

I am seriously considering canceling my voyage based on comments from our experienced co-cruisers.

 

What other line's offers reposition cruises from Japan to USA?

Regent offer Tokyo - Vancouver and vice versa each year on RSSC Explorer - not cheap but definitely a luxury experience

Go to cruisetimetables.com and select Tokyo under Cruises from.  It will tell you who is sailing and their itinerary.  EM

 

Also check cruises from Yokohama.
