Looking at sailing on the Celebration out of Miami, Eastern Caribbean (Amber Cove, San Juan, St Thomas.) Should I book port side or starboard side and what are the pros/cons?

Also, are the extended balcony cabins on Deck 14 covered?

TIA

Doesn't matter if they port like other ships which can drive in or back in.  Being a bigger ship this advice maybe pointless.

Look at the picture of the ship count up and see if they are covered on deck 14

I would suggest to look at the deck plans of the ship and see where the smoking areas are. If you're sensitive to smoke (like me), then you may want to try to book on the opposite side of where the smoking areas are on the upper decks. Assuming you have a balcony cabin of course. If no balcony, then it probably really doesn't matter either way.

been on 35+ cruises and I couldnt tell you which side is which. lol

I just booked a deck 14 extended balcony on the Jubilee today and if you are on the hump it looks like they are covered.If you are talking about the extended balconies in the aft or forward I can't answer that.

Here is how I remember.

Starboard= Right= Longer Word

StaRboaRd has two R's is what I tell people.

I tend to book the port side balconies as most ships unload starboard side. As above, I don't care to watch people watch me on my balcony. Check what is located above and below you, nothing worse than being below a club and hearing the bass until 2-3am.
