Embarkation on the Sunshine

My family and I will be on the Sunshine on February 18. I haven’t sailed  on Carnival in a number of years and was sorry to see the main dining room is no longer open for lunch. I always head to the main dining room on embarkation day.  Where is a good place to go for lunch to avoid the crowds in the buffet?

Go to the extreme aft of Lido, the Havana Bar area is not as crowded for lunch. Yes, you can get your food from Guy's/buffet and take it back there to eat.

I don't recall the mdr ever being open for lunch on embarkation day.

 

Best way to avoid the buffet crowd is to avoid the buffet like said  guys/blue iguana are much better choices.

 

There are probably other choices also

Behind the buffet, at the Havana bar area the Cucina Italian restaurant is open for lunch and also the Asian wok stir fry is there for lunch. Free for lunch
