Has anyone taken this cruise in November?  We are looking at the Nov 15, 2023 cruise, and wondering what transatlantic weather was like, as well as the ports?

Did the Senegal port stop happen?  Was the safari tour good?

Anyone with a review, or advice....greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!!

We took this cruise in 2019.  It was fantastic and would do it again in a heartbeat. The weather in Barcelona and Malaga was overcast but from thereon it was warm and sunny all the way and we spent many of the sea days by the pool.  We went on the game safari in Senegal and enjoyed the tour - more of an open zoo, no big cats but zebra, giraffe, rhino.  We also enjoyed Uraquay and a full day Viking tour of Rio.

We did this also.

Crossing was fine. Only rough seas were after we were sailing South along Brazil.

Safari was great! Many species in a natural habitat and up close photo ops.

If you stop in Casablanca, take the tour to Rabat. Lots to see and very educational. Casablanca looked like a nasty place, and Rick’s is a recreated tourist trap.

We did this cruise last November. No rough seas, wreathed was mild. Dakar was scratched before the cruise started, Cape Verde replaced it and was fun. Casablanca was missed because of some supposed Covid issue and we went to Funchal, Madeira instead (sort of a wasted half-day stop at which we tendered because other ships occupied the piers). And because a medical emergency slowed the ship (had to divert to Salvador Brazil for a medical evacuation. thankfully the passenger recovered ashore we were told), we arrived later than planned into Rio and spent an overnight there, which caused Montevideo to get dropped. None of this diminished the fun we had on this cruise. The best part was the 5- day extension to iguazu Falls and Rio. First- class operation all the way by Viking!
