Epic Beds-Balcony vs. Inside

Sorry to have to start a new thread but until Cruise Critic makes a search function that works…..🤪

Considering joining friends on Epic’s April 2023 TA and prefer a balcony cabin but at six foot-seven inches tall I am worried about the short beds.

I seem to recall that when Epic first was introduced that cruisers said that the inside cabins had more traditional beds. Can anyone confirm this?

I presume that she still has the extra short beds in the veranda rooms? 🤞that maybe they fixed this issue? (Though not sure how they could)

TIA!

Just off the Epic (balcony cabin) last weekend. My fiancé is 6’ and his toes hungeth over the foot of the bed if his head wasn’t right up against the headboard. It didn’t bother him, but….you’ve got 7 more inches to hang over the edge! On the upside, the balconies are humongous! Not that this will help with sleeping. Lol. Wonder if they have some sort of bed extender?

If so, no one has mentioned it. 😢. I do seem to recall folks talking about being able to pull them out from under the headboard a bit. Of course that means less room at the end of the bed for walking around it.

Maybe I can get a chaise lounge and sleep on the balcony🤔
