Casino Host making Dinner Reservations?

Can a CAS host make reservations at specialty restaurants for you? Do they have “pull” to get you into a restaurant that is full?

I have never seen them do that. The concierge can oversell a restaurant, but once a restaurant is totally oversold, even the concierge can not get a table for top-paying Haven guests. By the time you are talking with a host, most popular restaurants will be totally over sold, especially on sea days.

Once upon a time, hosts always offered to make dinner reservations for me based on my play. Now with it being easier to book online in advance of your cruise or when you get on board, restaurants do tend to sell out quicker than in the past. Not sure why you'd ask the host to make the reservations when you'd have a better chance of getting them yourself?

Years back the host would offer to make reservations, but that was also when they were comping the dinner.  Now the casino just gives us an OBC to use however we like.

I doubt that the Casino Host would have any pull and they probably don't deal directly with the restaurants anymore.

But, if you have or develop a relationship with him/her go ahead and ask.  Worse case they say they can't help you.
