Celebrity Post-Cruise Excursion w/LAX Drop-Off

On an upcoming Celebrity cruise, our flight home from LAX is after 5pm, so my husband and I are looking for a way to amuse ourselves between disembarking the ship and arriving at the airport. Also, we've got some OBC that we would like to use toward an excursion. 

 

Has anyone done Celebrity's Beachfront Santa Monica, Malibu & Beverly Hills with Airport Drop-Off? If so, what was your experience? Would you recommend it?
