Blueunderneath Posted February 4, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2023 I’m traveling on the Getaway to Bahamas in March, and I was wondering if anyone could give me any info on the outlets in the balcony cabins, specifically the “family balcony” (although keeping fingers crossed for a possible upgrade to a spa balcony). I use a CPAP machine and from what I’ve read the outlets are very minimal. I’m planning on bringing an extension cord or power strip, and I know that it can’t be surge protected. Will a 5 ft cord likely be long enough to reach to the bedside? Also, I’m traveling with another person and we’re going to have the beds separated, is there still a nightstand for each bed? Thank you!
Rare mking8288 Posted February 4, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2023 (edited) See - post #346 - photo illustrated. No bedside outlets, family balconies are just like other balconies, designation refer more to its location & sleeping up to 4 persons. You will need at least a 12' extension cord, 15' feet is better. Happy & healthy cruising ! Yes, whether beds are together or separated, each side/person will have her/his own "slim" vertical nightstand with 2 open shelves. kochleffel Posted February 5, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2023 Confirming: only at the desk/dressing table. A 12-foot cord would probably reach the near side of the bed.
