Chrish2 Posted February 6, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2023 Mid ship there is a notable part that sticks out on deck 7 with seating/sofas facing the ship. Having sat on the sofas you do look directly at peoples balconies which is a bit strange IMO. We actually spotted this before booking from a drone video. I've highlighted the relevant section on this video from YouTube. I think it might be the one we spotted the issue. We booked a forward cabin over the lifeboats to avoid been overlooked like this. n.b. aft cabins have a walkway under that is less tucked away than in the forward section. This provides some viability of balconies but if I remember nothing too notable. There is one exception, those angled balconies at the point the layout changes. When walking aft to forward on deck 7 these are quite visible. Full video
Rare CineGraphic Posted February 8, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2023 We've found that when we're out on our terrace, we're either in the hammock with our eyes closed or sitting, reading a book. It's very easy to see past the life boats.....the view is still delightful. Need to be able to look straight down? It's just a quick walk down 1 flight of stairs to the promenade. Any problem with this? Thought it might be a better view than looking at the lifeboats from above.

Chrish2 Posted February 13, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 13, 2023 You can see the white box here (it's some sort of special deployable tube slide for life rafts). The height is lower than the lifeboats but not sure how much obstruction you would get on 8 and 9. Un
