lhegs Posted March 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2006 We are sailing on the April 15th Liberty and want to book dinner at Harry's supper club. How do we do this to ensure we get reservations? Also what night would be good to avoid missing a formal night? We are on the 8 day Western cruise. Thanks :o
Erinl Posted March 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2006 When I booked I called the restaurant directly our first night there. The number will be in the directory book. We made reservations for the 2nd formal night-still need to dress up. Make sure to get reservations for an early time. We did 7:30 and were there till they closed. It's not rushed at all...and may I suggest the filet lobster bisque and mignon-superb! Enjoy~I'm so jealous! :p
mrdood Posted March 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 9, 2006 Go to the restaurant soon after you board, and make reservations, they fill up fast as there are a limited amount of tables and times available each night.
jpatryak Posted March 9, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 9, 2006 When we boarded the ship, there was a display set up for Harry's. You could make a reservation then and there. We did, and were glad; many people waited until the next day, and were out of luck - fully booked for the entire 8 night cruise. We went on the final sea day (Friday night of a cruise ending on Sunday a.m.). I wish we had gone earlier in the week so we had more time to walk off the lbs! Thanks :o There will be a dude waiting right where you get on the ship. First person you will probably see with a tray with steak and lobsters on it. He will book you right there on the spot
born2crooz Posted March 10, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 10, 2006 Being cheap, ok I said it, I was skeptical about having to pay $30.00 each for a meal. My wife wanted to go, so I sucked it up and made a reservation. WELL worth the $60.00 plus tip!! Food was outstanding!!!
mrdood Posted March 10, 2006 #7 Share Posted March 10, 2006 Two advantages to going in person: You find out where it is, and you can actually pick out your table, depending on what is available. Some locations are better than others!

Some locations are better than others! That's a good tip! There is definitely an advantage to going in person. Question: We are sailing the Liberty Thanksgiving week, the second formal night is Thanksgiving I believe. Would you recommend going to Harry's on Thanksgiving? If you go to Harry's on a non-formal night is the required also non-formal? Thanks. serene56 Posted March 10, 2006 #9 Share Posted March 10, 2006 Dress code for fomal night is formal attire and it is enforced in the supper club. On other nights the dress is casual... ya dont need ties or jackets but a nice shirt and pants will be ok. I go directly to the supper club once onboad. I do nothing at all til that reservation was made..am glad I did since all reservations were gone by 3pm on sailing day and people had to call during the week to see if any cancellations. Going directly to the supper club I am able to request a certain table. (most dont request a table so people here are in the know.)
