My family already booked the excursion and then I saw the weight limit. It says 240. How strict are they? I’m right at 250, maybe a little under. Will this be a problem?

 

Also, it says to bring a beach towel. But after watching the videos, how do you keep the towel from getting soaked? Silly question, I know.

Just don't say anything about weight. If they ask say 240, 10 Lbs is not going to sink the boat.

It's been about 3 years since we did that excursion, but my husband was close to 250.  I can't remember if we got on a scale or if they asked our weight, but it wasn't an issue getting him on.  They just positioned people in the boat depending on the weight.  It was SUPER fun!  And they had a front underneath storage area where we stored our bags and towels.  Nothing of ours got wet.

They need some kind of guideline in hopes that people above that weight will consider whether or not they will actually fit in the twister boat.  I have a tall and heavy spouse and it was a tough squeeze many years ago.
