Meraviglia missing Costa Maya

Was on the balcony and mentioned to my wife that it was really windy out. Not 2 minutes later the captain announced we were going to miss our call to Costa Maya as the 40 knot winds and sea currents would not allow safe docking. 
 

We can see other ships sailing in circles with us so I don’t think it’s just us. 
 

I prefer port days but these things happen.

Costa Maya is often missed due to winds, especially this time of year.
