Your photo of the Beyond and the Seascape together really hits hone for Lovey and I...

We had an aft balcony on Edge , and have and aft suite coming up on Seashore.

Both are the same ship classes.

It is very interesting to see them next to each other.

The size difference is overwhelming!

Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to DAY 7 of "LIVE" from MSC Seascape.

Today is the day that no cruise passenger looks forward to. This is our final day. Most passengers will be waking up early tomorrow involved with the hustle and bustle of debarkation.

There are still many, many activities scheduled for today. Some activities indoors, and some are outside. We will have sunny skies most of the day with temperatures in the low 80s. If you have to have a final day on a cruise, it's best to have a final day with great weather.

I had dinner last night at Green Wave dining room on DECK 5. Last night was Italian night, and it was very good. There were a lot of Italian specialties that were on the menu, but I chose a more American style Italian entree. . .Chicken Parmesan. I really love the wait staff at the Green Wave, and all of the food was very good all week. There were a couple of dishes that were not served as hot as I would have liked, but overall I thought the food was very good.

I must visit the MSC Signature Casino again today. The casino has kind of been "Radio Friendly" , but it could have been a little better. In other words, I didn't lose any money, I am a little bit ahead.

Thanks for tuning in, and here are a few pics.

While the shuttle price is $22, please consider taking a cab or ride service instead.  The shuttle cost is per person, so $44 for two people.  A taxi is under $30 for up to four people.  For the shuttle, you may have to wait until the bus is full before you go.  For the taxi, there is no wait.

Hello everyone, and good evening. I will just put all the cards out on the table and suggest that Taino Bay / Puerto Plata may be one of the best ports of call I have been to in the Caribbean.

It's kind of like Costa Maya, or Grand Turk, or maybe even like Falmouth Port. . . This is better than all of them. I loved the shops, Caribbean/Mexican food choices. The pool was fantastic, and there seemed to be plenty of seating for everyone. The lazy river is very nice as it goes to several tunnels on its way around the Taino Bay area.

Very similar to our impression last March!  The port had just opened then, and was clearly a work in progress.  However, we were struck by how clean and organized it was.  It is almost as if the developers studied what was wrong with the layouts of Costa Maya and Grand Turk, and designed it for smooth traffic flow and use of bright open spaces.  Sounds as if it has come a long way since that time.  Looking forward to a return visit.

Hello everyone and good evening.

Packing is done, dinner is done. I will have a little more time to stop at the MSC Signature Casino to see what Lady Luck will do.

I know it's not possible, but it seemed like every single passenger was out on the open decks this afternoon. It was very crowded, and there seemed to be music everywhere.

Tomorrow will be another busy day in Port Miami as there will be 6 ships there early tomorrow morning. My plans are to get off of the ship around 10:30, and grab an Uber over to the hotel I stayed in pre-Cruise.

I will rest up in Miami for a couple of days before I fly home on Tuesday evening. I will make a final post tomorrow while on board MSC Seascape. Here are a few pics from today, and thanks for tuning in.

@Radio  Thank you for the details about Puerto Plata!  We did not book an excursion for this port because we knew nothing about it.  I am glad to see there is so much to explore right by the ship.  That lazy river is calling my name 🙂

It has been fun to virtually cruise along!  Hope everything runs smoothly tomorrow.

You got a bargain as I paid about $60 for 3 people in Jan. for a cab and it wasn't big enough for three people plus two weeks of luggage. Thought that was high as I remembered paying less in the past.

Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to DAY 8 of "LIVE" from MSC Seascape.

We are currently in Port Miami, and the weather is clear and comfortable. I woke up at  Radio Dark30 this morning. I needed to get a cup of coffee or two .

I had to be out of my cabin by 7am. Grrr. . . I know, I know, passengers that were in the Yacht Club can stay until much later. Maybe next time. . .

Breakfast began at the normal time today, and it is very crowded up at 16. Now it's time for a friendly note from Radio: One, some passengers should reconsider Self-assist at Debarkation. Two, passengers should never be allowed to self-assist (carry off all their luggage without assistance) when they have 7 rolling pieces of luggage.

I will just be chilling out for a couple of hours, when most of the mayhem has completed. I will then walk off of the ship  leisurely. The process should go very smoothly.

I'm sure that once I get checked in to my post cruise hotel, I may watch a little news.

Here are a few pics from this morning. . .

Thanks for tuning in.

There are dozens of short vids that I still have to edit and over 200 photos that I haven't posted. As I can complete cleaning up the Radio cutting room floor, I will have lots more to post.

There may also have been some questions that I will attempt to answer. This however will be the final post from the beautiful MSC Seascape.

Your "Intrepid Reporter" bids you farewell (for now)

The Miami/Miami Beach taxi system has changed over from their previous zoned approach (where I agree the fares were very reasonable) to a traditional metered system... so expect all taxi fares from the airport and between destinations to cost about twice what they used to

Yes, this is the view I was hoping for last week at the Marriott Miami Biscayne Bay.

Wow. . . 8 ships today ( Oceania Rivera is over at Terminal J- out of sight)
