Aruba on Easter Monday

Hey all,

Going to be on Aruba Easter Monday, a holiday on the island.  It's my understanding that the stores are pretty much closed and the beaches are kind of packed since everyone has a 3 day weekend.  Lot's of people set up tents for the weekend.  Never been on a holiday so not sure but, that's what someone on our roll call said. 

 

We wanted to go to the beach but we don't get in until 11 so getting to the beach early isn't posibile.  Afraid it will be packed by the time we get there.  Anyone have first hand experience being there on a holiday? 

 

Also thinking of a snorkel tour but we are snorkeling on the other 3 islands so just wanted a chill day.
