Disembarking at Ravenna

Has anyone disembarked at Ravenna, Italy at the end of cruise last year? We are booked on the May 31st Athens to Venice cruise on the Gem…but, since ships cannot dock in Venice anymore the cruise lines must dock in either Ravenna or Trieste (2-3 hours from Venice). We are using NCL BOGO air & they have us flying out of Bologna after the cruise. We opted to stay in Bologna for an extra day & was wondering if NCL would transfer us to the Ravenna train station (as I’ve heard RCL does for their passengers) after we disembark. Thanks!!

No answer on transfer, but a suggestion to leave some time for Ravenna.  Last year after our cruise out of Ravenna was cancelled we turned the cruise into a land vacation.  Ravenna has some of the top Byzantine mosaics in the world: https://www.ravennamosaici.it/en/

In Bologna to get from the central train station to the airport there is a monorail: https://www.marconiexpress.it/en/
