Bag drop in Honolulu

We have disembarked in Honolulu previously but this will be our first time boarding a ship there.

Is it easy enough to get into the port area in a rental car to drop off our bags early, then leave to drop off our car at HNL?

Which berth? It is easy enough at the Aloha Tower. I don't recall how strict Pier 2 was on access. You can always drop the luggage with the other passenger(s) and have one person take the car back.

We’ll probably just return the car first.
