Uber to Pulpit Rock parking lot

Is taking an Uber to the Pulpit Rock parking lot from Stavanger and option (or back from the parking lot)?  The bus times don't line up great with the time in port.

It’s possible to take one there, but it will cost over 1000 NOK. Getting back would probably be a problem, since there are unlikely to be drivers in that area. You’d probably need to pre-book for a taxi to pick you up for the return trip.

Hey have you found out anymore about going to Pulpit Rock. When is your cruise? My husband wants to do this but the one thing I saw didn't come back in time either. We are on Cunard and they don't have a cruise tour with this either. we will be there 8/8/23. Any info you might have would be great.

We are not going till August 2024.  This is what I found

It looks like the bus with https://gofjords.com/ leaves at 8:00 and https://www.pulpitrock.no/ has a return at 12:00 in the summer (from what I can tell) and at 1:40.  Not a lot of time to get up and back and the outgoing bus is a round trip fare (maybe you could call and ask about a one way).  Taxi would be another option to get there and take a bus back.  Let me know how it goes if you guys attempt to squeeze it in.
