harbourxie Posted March 28, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2023 Anyone knows if there are any newer slot machines on Celebrity Solstice? I will on it June 30th to Alaska and worry about if there are any newer machines after watching some youtube videos of casinos of other Solstice class ships such as Silhouette and Equinox. Janthere Posted March 30, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 30, 2023 Not sure but I am on April 15 and can let you know. When we were on in December I didn't play a ton of slots but I do remember The Pig lock it link

Janthere Posted April 23, 2023 #6 Share Posted April 23, 2023 I just disembarked from Solstice today and spent a fair amount of time in the casino - my second cruise on Solstice since December. As a video poker player mainly it was a challenge to get one of the three working machines that had multi play games like Ultimate X. There are 2 machines in the long bank of maybe 12 machines that are the Superstar version. There are also 3 standalone machines Superstars near the casino bar. Only 1 works (it was like this on the December cruise too). The seats in the casino for slots don't have backs on them so I found it to be pretty inhospitable for long sessions and as a result mostly played VP as those had actual chairs. If I was the casino manager on that ship, changing the chairs would be the number one thing I'd do. At the end of the cruise, Nicola the host approached me to let me know she would be crediting my account a couple hundred dollars. I have always had to ask the host at the end for comps so that was a really nice surprise not having to chase someone down. Overall the casino experience onboard was fine but I don't think I would sail Solstice again without an update and certainly not longer than 7 nights.
