Rare drron29 Posted April 5, 2023 Author #201 Share Posted April 5, 2023 Back on the ship and straight to lunch. We went to the pool deck and Rojaan just had a dessert -the mango Eton Mess and I had the hot dog. All that we needed. Bombed aout again in Trivia but at least I got 2 points in the putting.
Rare drron29 Posted April 6, 2023 Author #202 Share Posted April 6, 2023 As we steamed from Cartagena towards Palma De Majorca a rather long ship passed us. Dinner was once again in Atlantide.\ Rojaan started with the caviar whilst I had the foie gras terrine. I then had the lobster bisque. Rojaan went with the lobster tail again and I had the seabass.

Rare drron29 Posted April 6, 2023 Author #216 Share Posted April 6, 2023 For lunch we went to Spaccanapoli for pizzas. Much better than pre covid. Rojaan had the Funghi Porcini and I the funghi E Salsiccia. Both very nice. Whilst we were lunching there were yacht races going on.
Rare drron29 Posted April 6, 2023 Author #217 Share Posted April 6, 2023 Back to Atlantide. It is our favourite dinner venue.Sat next to 2 delightful divorced ladies. One was born in Adelaide but moved to the USA as a child the other a Canadian. Here the daily menu. The night's wines. Both good wines. Rojaan began with the beef tartare and caviar whilst I had the Tsar cut salmon which was excellent. I then had the poached pear salad again very good. For mains Rojaan had the salmon and I the beef Wellington. Both excellent. For desserts Rojaan had the pavlova and I the bluebery chocolate crumble. Both good.
HappyCamper777 Posted April 6, 2023 #218 Share Posted April 6, 2023 drron29, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing all of the menus you have shared with us. There are many people who come to CruiseCritic looking for menus and now they'll be able to reference your topic.

Fabulous photos of Palma ..we go to Palma every year for 5 nights in June and stay at a fabulous hotel in old Palma called convent de la .. missio..it's a old convent which had been refurbished to a excellent standard .. they were given approval on the condition that the monks still reside in the convent& ring the bells each day early morning.. it's a fabulous boutique hotel with a Michelin star restaurant Marc Fosh ( English) but has been living in Palma for over 25 years ..this short day in June is always followed by a silversea cruise in Oct ( planned around my husband's veteran Motocross schedule😂... Have enjoyed following your cruise adventure... We are off to Palma in June & on the moon in Oct ... Thanks for sharing...
Rare drron29 Posted April 7, 2023 Author #221 Share Posted April 7, 2023 Thursday morning and we arrive in Tarragona. A large port area with the Cruise port quite a distance to the Port gate. No walking to and from the ship here. Several ships waiting offshore.
Rare drron29 Posted April 7, 2023 Author #222 Share Posted April 7, 2023 We were off to Mountblanc and the Poblet Monastery. It is not a very scenic city. but a long line of seafood restaurants near the fishing harbour and seafood market. Then you pass a few kilometres of petrochemical works.
