Is the Specialty Dining worth it? (Norwegian Dawn)

Like almost anything else on a cruise, it's a personal judgement, no different than getting the spa, Vibe, or P+ package.  I always upgrade to all specialty.  I found the service is generally better and I know I'm going to find choices I like on those menus.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I decided to go ahead and purchase the 3-specialty dining package! I think it would be nice for 3 out of the 7 nights to have a little upgrade.

Los Lobos is awesome - super nice drinks at the bar before you eat, and the guacamole and street corn are amazing

We just got off the Sun.  The menu in the MDR varied by day.  Like always, there are some items present every day and variable additional items.

 

We enjoy both the MDR and specialty restaurants but do find the MDR can be slow with meals sometimes taking two hours.

 

We really like Los Lobos, Moderno, and Cagney's.
