Ensemble Journey Experience Credit - What is it?

Hi:

My apologies since I’m still learning this cruise line’s lingo. My confirmation shows “ensemble 150EUR journey experience credit”. Can someone tell me what this is? Is it onboard credit? Shore excursion credit? Etc.

 Thanks for your insight!

Hi Tapi, no need to apologize. So much is still a 'guess' as to all things Explora. My guess is that you've booked through an Ensemble Group travel agent, and they are providing you a credit towards shore excursions. I just received a brochure from my TA for 'Experiences', which turns out to be their name for shore excursions. Hope that helps.

It’s 100% obc!

And that’s usually per person….

Thanks! My TA just replied and what you said seems to be absolutely correct. 😃

Thank you. It seems like it’s towards shore excursions. But you’re correct that it’s per person, so we have 300 EUR towards excursions. 😀

In writing, no less ..... !

Journey Experience Credits can only be used onboard (credited to guest onboard account) on shipboard expenses and Destination Experiences; and will be offered in Euro currency. Additional terms and conditions may apply.

That sounds great! We normally don’t book excursions through the cruise line, so an actual onboard credit will be more useful.
