broadwater Posted March 31, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2023 Our ship docks in Papette on 2/3/2024 for an overnight stay. We need to disembark on 2/3/2024 to catch the flight to Auckland early the next day, so in effect, we would like to disembark a day early, to pick up another Azamara cruise in Sydney, but the transfer is tight, Our Travel agent has spoken to Azamara who said this is fine to disembark early, but I've spoken to Azamara who says it will be up to the actual ship's crew at the time. No guarantee. Have any other passengers had problems disembarking a day early in a port when you have an overnight stay? Any advice is welcome! roberts2005 Posted March 31, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2023 On our recent cruise on Pursuit that ended with an overnight in BA we met a couple that were leaving early. They departed early evening.
Rare uktog Posted March 31, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2023 This is not a question you can get answered here - it is correct there is no guarantee and is dependent on the co-operation of the local immigration and customs authorities - customs in particular who are usually only engaged on the one disembarkation day, sorry
florisdekort Posted April 4, 2023 #4 Share Posted April 4, 2023 Not Azamara, but Seabourn - Many disembarked the evening before in Papeete 2 months back as all but a few international flights are evening departures.
