So I guess 150 got worse after I left. They waited over an hour for dessert. I personally would have just walked out. They said a couple sitting next to them was waiting over an hour for appetizers. A lot of unhappy people in that restaurant last night. My mom said she felt like she had to wait to sign the slip. I told her next time to just leave and I would deal with any issues later. 
 

We are scheduled to eat there one more time this week and the family is demanding I change it to another restaurant. 😱

Do you already have a dinner at Giovanni's planned? That has always been our favorite specialty restaurant (and we rarely pay for specialty). Love the filet and the carbonara there.

My mother in her wisdom declared last night she was making an executive decision that we will be going to breakfast at 9 am. Well it is 8:30 and I just informed her that any good executive would check the schedule before making such decisions. 
 

It is now a mad dash for everyone to jump out of bed and try to make it to Johnny rockets before they close at 9.

 

The breakfast times change drastically from day to day.

We do but we will likely just switch to sushi. We still haven’t done that or the bbq. The long meals get old when the service is slow and not flowing.

Understood. Maybe we've been lucky but we've always had excellent service. Giovanni's was a bit slow one night on Indy but they kept apologizing and they give you so much food that we were OK with it. That said, we didn't have to wait an hour for any course. That's obviously unacceptably slow.

Made it to Johnny rockets for breakfast. It is pretty muggy out. We got a maple bacon shake. To our surprise breakfast shakes are not included in the drink package. They are only included during lunch and dinner.

Breakfast was fine. We are in Labadee and we should be getting off in the next 30 minutes or so.

Enjoy! Haven't been there in forever but have heard it's much improved. We'd love an itinerary that goes to both private islands but they don't exist during the times of year we can travel out of PC, the only port we use out of convenience.

Labadee was hot and crowded. We lasted about an hour before coming back to the ship. We were at Adrenaline beach. Looks like I took some pics upside down again. 🙃

 

Mom got a labadoozle or something like that.

We hung out on the pool deck for awhile at one of the jacuzzi’s. We then headed to bbq for lunch at 1. I ordered turkey but ended up with sausage instead. The chicken and the beans were my favorite.

We did the escape room this afternoon. It was a different experience. This isn’t something I went into thinking I would like. I wasn’t wrong. They say you should try everything once. 
 

I’ve never done it before so nothing to compare it to.

 

We went to playmakers after for some table top shuffleboard and pool.

At Chops tonight for dinner. Appetizers came quickly. We have mushroom soup which had a strong pepper flavor. The others got pepper bacon and crab cake.

My sons first drink of the week is Moscato. Obviously he is not like his mama.

I managed to squeeze 1 1/2 cups of water during the 1 1/2 hours I was there. I left prior to our dinner plates being removed to get something for my developing headache. 
 

I again attempted the ceaser salad. I requested grinder pepper but this is also not available in the specialty restaurants. I thought the salad tasted the same as MDR with the difference being he made it table side and threw an anchovy on top. I think the dressing is just too bland.

Wow, not too impressed  wtih this menu.

I would hate to pay extra for this.

Lobster bisque and goat cheese salad. The fried thing on top is the goat cheese it was nice and warm. This was a nice surprise.

So I couldn’t hear all of the announcement but I heard something is cancelled for the week due to technical difficulties. My guess is the aqua show. This is a bummer if that is the case since I skipped last week so i could see it with the family. I will have to confirm.

Dinner was a success. In and out in 1 1/2 hours. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Desserts..

Yes I heard Aqua Show has been cancelled for the week. We are on next week, hope they start doing it by then!

Good morning, it is day 4 and we are still on our way to San Juan. We are scheduled to dock at 2 pm. 
 

I enjoy fresh squeezed OJ in the morning. It is only available in 2 spots early. You can get it in the windjammer or the spa. This will the 3rd time on this trip that I’ve waited 10 plus minutes at the spa only for them to tell me the machine isn’t working. 😡 I was then forced into the madhouse that is the windjammer. I’m not sure what they have against hanging an out of order sign. 
 

Have I mentioned how much I despise the early morning options? It is not designed for the early riser.

Didn't they used to have self serve coffee on deck on some ships? I haven't cruised in a few years but I seem to remember that. Same at the AI's in Mexico. I'm up looking for coffee at 6am and nothing is open until 7am.  Loving your review, just stay on the ship and do a B2B2B please.
