mk-ray Posted April 8, 2023 #26 Share Posted April 8, 2023 I've just spoken to P & O. They require passengers to have declared all their medical conditions and say it is between the passenger and their insurer as to what is just declared and what is actually covered. Result.🙂
ljones Posted April 14, 2023 #27 Share Posted April 14, 2023 It could be that the cruise line wants you to 'declare' your pre-existing conditions so, if not covered by your insurance, you would have no claim against the cruise line for medical coverage for that. Regardless of their location, when not in the USA, there are definitely insurers (not the cruise line) who require disclosure of health conditions before deciding upon coverage.
