Excursion to airport with wheelchair

I have contacted the excursions department as I was told to do.  I will travel with my wheelchair and want to take an excursion the last day of cruise and then they drop you off at the airport.  I can maneuver getting on the bus myself, I just cannot walk very far without it.  Problem is I cannot get an answer from excursions desk.  They said they have to contact the tour company to see if they can take my wheelchair.  They will have everyone's luggage, but cannot take it?  It has been over a week and no answer.  I have checked back with them with no response.  Any suggestions?  Just forget it and book a shuttle?  We set sail in 8 days.  Thanks for your input.

Try to find the actual vendor for the tour and contact them directly instead of waiting for RCI to give you an answer (which will likely never come). Making your own arrangements might be best.
