rts62001 Posted April 16, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2023 Having a hard time with reservations for 6 at the specialty dining on the Joy, sailing in July. Is it better to book a 9:30, or am I stressing too much, and will I be able to get a reservations once we are on the ship that first day?
cruisekitty22 Posted April 16, 2023 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2023 I would book 9:30 PM then change it once on board the ship asap.
MNcruisingcouple Posted April 16, 2023 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2023 I've always just booked restaurant reservations once on board, even with groups of up to nine people. I've been able to get good times by being a bit flexible. That being said, we get to the terminal early and have priority embarkation. So, we are one of the first groups on board and reservations are the first thing I do.
Rare genealogyfan Posted April 16, 2023 #4 Share Posted April 16, 2023 I was told NCL only releases 20% of their available restaurant reservations ahead of sailing. Just make sure you go to wherever they take restaurant reservations when you first board.
Rare debenson0723 Posted April 16, 2023 #5 Share Posted April 16, 2023 Are you trying to do it online or in the app? If so, then give NCL a call instead. Much easier to book the times you want with a person (and I know some people experience long waits but I have never been on hold longer than 10 minutes anytime I call). Enjoy your cruise!
